I made my second trip for the season with Captain Jim Higbee and the Miss Fortescue. The flounder fishing is indeed still red hot. Pictured in from our group is Mike Johnson, who despite it being his first time flounder fishing (he is a bass fisherman) made out very well. Mike took a 26″, 24″ and 19″ with the larger one weighing in over 6lbs. The entire boat seemed to be doing very well, with many fish being caught that were over 24″. I must say that fishing with Captain Jim Higbee is a pleasure…he takes great care of his customers and never seems to rush. I have fished many open party boats, and never have found one so accomodating or concerned about catching fish. The mate Gary is first class as well and doesn’t miss a beat. If your looking for a great trip and fish…look no further. And congrats to MJ for his fine display of fishing.
